Chief Elrod’s distinguished career is hallmarked as the Personal Security Officer for four (4) Secretaries of Defense, three (3) U.S. Ambassadors, and numerous General Officers. Chief Elrod was appointed Special Counsel for the Office of the Secretary of Defense for Security Matters and Special Counsel for all related NATO events.
