DR. MICHAEL K. LAVINE, VP, CYBERSECURITY AND IT

Dr. Michael K. Lavine is the Vice-President, Cybersecurity and IT where he specializes in cybersecurity, cyberwarfare, and emerging technologies for counterterrorism and critical infrastructure protection initiatives. He has extensive experience in network security, advanced persistent threats (APTs), security auditing, secure communications, and related areas. Previously, he has supported the National Security Agency, the Department of Homeland Security, and numerous large corporations as a consultant and technical Subject Matter Expert. He holds academic appointments in Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University and Information Systems at Syracuse University. He received his Ph.D. in Information Systems Security and an MSc. Internal Auditing and Management from Cass Business School – City University London, a M.S. in Information and Telecommunication Systems from Johns Hopkins University, and a B.S. in Finance from Touro College.
